Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of a variety of temporary fencing solutions, with branches in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland and recently also in the United States.
For our branch in Valkenswaard (NL) we are looking for a Maintenance and Troubleshooting Mechanic for the technical department. You will work in 2 or 3 shifts, perform maintenance work on our production lines, and independently analyze and solve malfunctions. We also expect that you will use this as a basis for making improvements.
The service & maintenance engineer independently performs maintenance work, diagnoses and resolves malfunctions. Afterwards he/she coordinates the work with his/her supervisor and offers solutions for improvement of the installation(s). He is also responsible for the correct functioning of (electric) hand tools and rolling stock. In addition, he may also direct third parties, operators and/or assistant operators in this respect.
- Technical education at MBO level 3 and/or extensive experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and propulsion technology or willingness to learn more;
- Experience with control and/or switch technology is an advantage;
- Willingness to work in shifts.
