For our client in Acht we are looking for a concierge. The organization has been in this location for 3 years now and they would like to hire an employee to be responsible for all concierge activities. This means that you will have the opportunity to come up with your own input to fill this role.
The client is the fastest growing solutions-based distributor for RFID, Auto ID, POS, and Mobility products. We work exclusively with Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partners to deliver the best Supply Chain, Mobility, and POS hardware and software solutions in the world.
What will you be doing?
- Communicating any needed repairs or guest service-related issues to management;
- Completing any needed minor repairs and informing them per report;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the parking booths, office, equipment, signage, canteen, kitchenette, and bathroom facilities. This includes emptying trash containers, dish washer and disposing of waste accordingly;
- Keeping all parking area surfaces free of trash, debris, stains, and spills;
- Stocking adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses;
- Maintaining the work area to ensure it remains clean, safe, and organized;
- Operating maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents;
- Maintaining the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean, and proper working conditions;
- Adhering to company policies, safety regulations and requirements;
- Alerts the supervisor regarding unusual issues or concerns.
Job requirements
- You have experience with power tools and the ability to read technical manuals;
- You are able to perform up to 15 pounds of physical work
- You are willing to perform walking and standing work for extended periods of time;
- You are task oriented and can work with little direct supervision;
- You preferably have experience with maintenance or janitorial work ( not required );
- You possess good communication skills in English and Dutch.
What we offer you
- Full-time or part-time job in day shift;
- Gross hourly wage depending on experience between € 12,- and € 13,-;
- Travel allowance of € 0,19 cents per kilometer;
- Job for the long term with the possibility of a permanent appointment;
- Freedom for own input for this function and a lot of independence.
