For an American logistics company in Veghel we are looking for an Customer service Assistant employee! You ensure that the latest fashion trends can be admired in the store and online! 

What will you be doing?

Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Customer Service Assistant will assist with daily communications with clients/partners via email and phone. These communications are focused on order confirmations, shipping updates, billing questions and troubleshooting problems that may arise. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for all incoming and outgoing shipments coming and leaving the distribution center is complete, accurate and filed away in an organized fashion. You will check drivers in and out throughout day, handle bills of ladings (BOLs), and utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers. You will also be required to assist in the day-to-day warehouse operations functions as needed.

  • Daily communications with clients via Email or phone.
  • Contact client and help resolve any discrepancies on any documents.
  • Advice Client if an inbound shipment does not have an ASN in the system. 
  • Alert Warehouse/operations manager of expected incoming shipments.
  • Confirm packed orders are as per retailers’ routing requirements
  • Coordinate customs activities with customs broker (match export documents for all export shipments + file) 
  • Coordinate billing, invoicing and resolve discrepancies
  • Interact with warehouse associates and troubleshoot potential issues
  • Assist with daily and weekly reports as required
  • Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics
  • Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements.
  • Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor

Job requirements

  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, in word and in writing
  • You have at least 2 years experience in a similar position
  • You have experience with Microsoft office
  • You are a real multi-tasker 
  • You have an excellent helicopter view 
  • Experience with customs related activities is a plus 
  • You are willing to physically assist your colleagues in the warehouse when the need is high

What we offer you

  • Full time job of 40 hours per week;
  • Working hours from 08:00 to 17:00; 
  • Starting salary €2.700 gross per month, if you have experience a higher monthly salary is negotiable;
  • 8,33% vacation money;
  • Opportunity for a long-term contract.
