Direct People B.V. attaches great value to the careful and safe handling of privacy sensitive information of its website visitors, candidates, employees and self-employed persons. Direct People B.V. has therefore established this privacy statement. Direct People B.V. treats and secures the personal information entrusted to it with the utmost care. With this privacy statement Direct People B.V. provides insight into how Direct People B.V. handles your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

Who we are

Together with Progress Uitzendbureau B.V., it forms part of the holding company Uitzendgroep Brabant.

Direct People B.V. mediates in flex personnel on the basis of temporary employment, secondment or recruitment and selection.

Direct People B.V. is the data controller according to the AVG and therefore has control over the processing of personal data and determines the purposes and means of processing.

Direct People B.V. sometimes engages other companies to perform services for it. In these situations Direct People B.V. remains responsible for the processing of your personal data. With these companies, Direct People B.V. makes contractual agreements concerning the handling of your personal data, so that your privacy remains guaranteed.

When do we collect your personal data?

We are permitted to collect and process your personal data in the following cases:

  • If the processing is necessary for the execution of a contract to which you are a party;
  • If processing is necessary in order to comply with a legal obligation to which Direct People B.V. is subject;

Why we collect your personal details

Your personal details are used to provide you with the best possible HR services, including staffing, secondment, recruitment and selection.

Direct People B.V. uses your information for the following purposes:

  • Matching supply and demand in the labour market.
  • To register and process hours worked in our payroll system.
  • To assess your suitability and availability in connection with a mediation to permanent or temporary work or an assignment, which may include the use of test results.
  • Contact you about commercial offers, newsletters and promotional campaigns that may be of interest to you, only if you have signed up for them.
  • Establish and maintain an employee or personnel/brokerage relationship with you and carry out the relevant administration for this.
  • Fulfilment of our reintegration obligations and the purpose (imposed by the government) to help people with a large(r) distance to the labour market find work.
  • To be able to record an assignment with the client in an agreement and to maintain and fulfil the agreement with the client.
  • To process data on behalf of our clients in the context of a pre-employment screening.
  • For the purpose of checking legislation and regulations, with regard to being allowed to work in the Netherlands and applying for a VOG.
  • To promote your personal development and employability, including training, education and testing.
  • For quality purposes, such as certification.
  • To apply for subsidies, premium discounts etc.
  • If we have entered into an employee or personnel/brokerage relationship with you, for compliance with legislation and regulations, including but not limited to identification, labour legislation, tax and social security legislation, combating fraud and national and international sanctions legislation.

What personal data do we collect from you?

Direct People B.V. may process the personal details below if you are a job seeker, candidate, seconded employee, (temporary) employee and/or business relation of Direct People B.V. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal details provided by you are correct and up to date.

  • Job seeker or candidate
  • Name, address, telephone number
  • Birth data, age, gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information on education, internships and work experience
  • Details of training and education and/or tests that you have attended or taken yourself or through us
  • Data on availability
  • Other information that is or may be important in assessing the suitability of the candidate, for example references and testimonials and information concerning work experience
  • On a voluntary basis, other content with which you present yourself (video, photo)
  • Other data than those mentioned above whose processing is required by or necessary for the purpose of the application of the law.
  • Seconded, (temporary) employee
  • If you work/have worked for Direct People B.V. or its clients, Direct People B.V. may process the data below:
  • name, address, telephone number, bank and/or giro account number
  • Data concerning birth, age and gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information on education, internships and work experience
  • Details of training and education and/or tests that you have attended or taken yourself or through us
  • Data on availability and leave
  • Nationality, BSN & identity card (copy of identity card), any work permit
  • Details in the context of a pre-employment screening
  • Data regarding the nature and content of previous employment, as well as the termination thereof
  • Other data related to personnel, salary and absenteeism registration
  • Other data than those mentioned above whose processing is required by or necessary for the application of the law
  • Health insurance details.

  • The exchange of personal details to third parties will only take place if this is strictly necessary for the implementation of the agreement and if it is legally required.

Direct People B.V. does not exchange data with countries outside the EEA.

Your rights

We are committed to ensuring that you can easily exercise your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise any of the rights afforded to you and set out below, please contact us as described below.

Access and/or change data
